Malampuzha Dam at Palakkad

Malampuzha Dam is the major tourist attraction place and popular local picnic spot in Palakkad (Palghat) District Kerala State, India. By Train:

The Palghat Junction is the major railway station to alight for Malampuzha Dam, which is just 7 Km away. From Palghat railway station, there are many taxis and private jeep available to reach Malampuzha Dam.

 

By Road:

The NH 554 and NH 47 passes through the Palghat District making it good connectivity via road from rest of the Indian cities. The distance from Palakkad town to Malampuzha Dam is just 10km. There are state operated and private operate busses to reach Malampuzha Dam apart from Taxi’s, jeep, car and auto rickshaws.
