Political Leader K Karunakaran’s Statue – infront-of Thrissur Town Hall

This Picture is of famous politics leader, K.Karunakaran‘s statue in-front of Thrissur town hall, Kerala. The Thrissur Town Hall is situated in Thrissur city of Kerala State of India. Trichur Town Hall was constructed during the Dewanship of R K Shanmughom Chetti.

Town Hall contains the Archaeological Museum and Picture Gallery. There are some mural paintings from all parts of the Kerala are copied and exhibited. There is a collection of the old manuscripts which is written on the palm leaves, called as asolagrandhangal. Trichur Town Hall was built in honour of the then Emperor of India, King George for silver jubilee. Town Hall was built in the Victorian style with a lawn and garden in front of it.
